OPEN STUDIO in MAY

The glassblowing studio will be open for visitors to watch Malcolm glassblowing and ask questions, a great 'free' opportunity to find out how it's done.
Everyone is welcome!

Experiments and seconds will be for sale in the workshop too.

The workshop will be open on Sunday 25, Monday 26 and Tuesday 27 May 2008 from 11am to 5pm.

GLASSBLOWING LESSONS

Morning session: 9am – 12.30pm £62.50

Afternoon session: 1.30 – 5pm £62.50

All day session: 9am - 5pm £125.00 including lunch.

Maximum students per session are 2 so the teaching and hands on experience is intensive and you will get a lot out of the lesson. You will come away with something you have actually made too.

CHRISTMAS BAUBLE BLOWING EVENING

6 to 9pm

Many thanks to all of you who came despite the weather. At one point the lane turned into a river making it impossible for people to use but everyone dried out in the cosy studio and warmed up with the mulled wine. For those of you who watched your own bauble being made don't forget to come and pick it up.

Our raffle for a "Bag of Baubles" made £85.00 for Cancer Research UK and we thank all of you who took part.

The winning numbers were

We were told it was a lovely festive start to the season!

HAMPTON COURT FLOWER SHOW

Malcolm was invited to include his sculpture in the BBC show garden at the RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show (6-9 July 2006).
Louise Todd from St Ives designed this "Garden of Corwall" winning the BBC Radio Cornwall competition and it acheived a silver medal at Hampton Court. Sir Cliff Richard and Gloria Hunniford toasted the garden with Malcolm, Louise and the rest of the team who built the garden.
